Actual use of sarrusophone in Rhapsodie Espagnole?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #324 of 444 |

I remember once (maybe ten years ago?) seeing a telecast on TV of
one of the major symphony orchestras performing Rhapsodie Espagnole,
in which the contra player was featured playing the sarrusophone
part on an actual sarrusophone.

By any chance does anyone remember which orchestra that was, who the
player was, etc.?

Just curious.

TIA.

BTW, hi, everyone. This is my first posting to this list.
