Sarrusophone in Concert

Greetings Sarrusophiles! Here's an announcement for our upcoming
concert, featuring yours truly on Triebert Eb baritone sarrusophone
(playing 1st bassoon part). I also have a great featured solo in the
2nd movement of "Four Scottish Dances".

The Lexington (MA) Bicentennial Band, under the direction of Jeffrey
P. Leonard, performs its annual spring Pops Concert at Lexington High
School, Commons area, 251 Waltham St., Lexington on Saturday, April
30, at 7 p.m. The program is as follows:

Palomar Symphonic March - Robert H. Pearson
Folk Song Suite - Ralph Vaughn Williams
Shenandoah - arranged by Frank Ticheli
John Williams: Fantasy of Flight - arranged by Robert W. Smith
Defying Gravity - Steve Reinike

Intermission

The Jig is Up - Daniel Kallman
Four Scottish Dances - Malcolm Arnold
Ragged Rozey - Karl King
The Sound of Music - Richard Rodgers arr. Robert Russell Bennett
The Big Cage - Karl King

Open to the public. Voluntary tax-deductible donations accepted at the
door with a CD of the band made available for certain donations.
Proceeds benefit the band.
