[Sarrusophone] Re: New work for Sarrusophones

Maurizio,

Very few recordings of the contrabass sarrusophone exist. You can
download a short selection from he files section of this group's
website.

Scott Robinson plays one song (Mandy, Make Up Your Mind) using a
contra sarrusophone on his album "Thinking Big". (Arbors Records
ARCD 19179). He also plays cotrabass sax on this recording.

The only recording of a Bass Sarrusophone I have been able to find is
that of a Lecture REcital by Michael Jolivet made at the
International Double Reed Society Convention in Banff Canada on
August 6, 2002. I was able to order mine from the Banff Centre
Music and Sound Program shortly after the recital. It may still be
available.

Perhaps someone should start a database on the website of
sarrusophone recordings.

Jack
