SCOOP!!

Well, well, well. It seems Christmas really *has* come a little early.

I was listening to BBC 6 music this evening and Mr. Don Letts said
he'd be interviewing Jeanette Lee (ex PiL and now Rough Trade co-head
honcho) about new music for 2006 (or 2-0-6 as Letts kept saying). On
a hunch, I continued listening, and after a few nice tracks by the
Strokes et al, Jeanette dropped her bombshell....a brand new Scritti
Politti track!!! I believe it's called "Boom Boom Bap", it's going
round my head after one listen, and the best thing is, you can hear it
too for the next 7 days!

click on the "listen again" links on the right, select Thursday's
show, and go to circa 1 hour 20 mins in to hear the track. Jeanette's
on from circa 1 hour in to the show.
