Hi Folks-Our local Krishna Das (aka Greg Heil) is the one who set up
and manages this Seakir list serve. A couple of days ago he just
found out he has a two brain tumors and so he is at Swedish Hospital
and will have surgery on Monday to remove them. I know he'd
appreciate any prayers of support. Also, feel free to join me for
about 25 minutes of chanting on Sunday around 5:20 for him. (I'm
singing in the am in Bellevue, then workshop daytime, and engagement
again at Kirkland around 6, so it will be brief, but I'm trusting
that that brief chant may be just right anyway.) He is welcoming it
as good energy before the surgery. He also welcomes you to bring a
bit of vegan food at various times as the hospitals menu of vegan
food is limited.

Krishna Das's spirits and attitude are great, and he is looking
forward to the chant. He has had a long and extensive practice of
chant and mantra for many years.

Here are directions to Swedish Providence Medical Center. Due to
construction, use the Emergency Room exit on 16th just south of
Cherry. There is a parking lot that you can use. I believe both the
3 and 4 buses go past there as well.
Greg is for the moment settled in to room 533 East. The number there
is 206-320-4533 -- it is always a good idea to call first.
