There may be no other band in the world that has traced an evolution as
simultaneously varied yet focused as Japan's Boredoms. Across nearly 20 years,
founder and leader Eye has taken the band on the equivalent of a road trip, from

A forgotten masterpiece of south-European Prog Folk-music! The members of S
Vremena Na Vreme were the founders and leaders of the Belgrade acoustic scene.
These talented guys were the cornerstone for other groups like Pop Masina, Dag,
Porodicna Manufaktura Crnog Hleba and others in the early 70s. The quartet rose
out of nowhere with this debut studio album (1975), full of beauty and
originallity. They were not only talented players, but also fantastic composers.
By using the prim and the sargija (small guitars from the Balkan area) they
developed a very specificsound. S Vremena Na Vreme was not a just group whose
musicians only knew how to show off on their instruments, but are also hugely
accessible and appealing! If you like the Strawbs’ first album, this album

Originally recorded in 1980, 'Erector' was harsher and less 'industrial'
sounding than the first two albums and arguably became the seminal influence,
along with 'The 150 Murderous Passions' LP, for the subsequent wave in the mid /
late 80s of noise projects (in particular Japanese). Also featured for the first
time in vinyl format is the originally banned cover art by Steven Stapleton

Second release from this US (mostly) extreme Noise / Gabber unit. Beginning with
punishing drill n' bass breaks and blastbeats with monstrous psychotic vocals
and HARSH noise, "The Shame Of Being A Child" progresses into ghostly drones and
white noise. Add in some Merzbow-meets-Boredoms insanity, mashed up grindcore
debris, heavy machine beat action underneath swirling drones like ala Troum or
Final. Overall, this album falls somewhere around the intersection of
Discordance Axis, Muslimgauze, Japanese Noise, Nasenbluten and Winterkälte(!).
Highly recommended to avant-grind and heavy noise fans. Also features a
stunning, very creepy cover of "Willow's Song" from The Wicker Man! 20 untitled
tracks with bonus live action (Washington DC, 2004). Japanese import.

With their 5th full-length album, Svarrogh present a very complex post folk
experience, dedicated to the holy earth-water Yer Su - from the mystic and
ancient Bulgarian pantheon of Tangra. It also shows the symbiotic allegiance to
slavic mythology and European culture from the depths of the Pamir mountains and
meadows through the slavic steps up to the Balkan realms. Traditional Bulgarian
instruments sit alongside vocals in Bulgarian, Italian, English and Lithuanian,
with guitars and drums arranged to a Balkan post folk and avantgarde dark folk
adventure with ambient drones, elements of Industrial and Black Metal and
