Hi everyone

 

Hope you've all recovered from what was certainly an exhausting weekend!

Well done to all of you for pulling out all the stops to put on a great show, and getting in the spirit of things. Your support and hard work on the day is much appreciated.

There was a great crowd, with people from all over, not just Sheffield. The managers at the venue were extremely impressed with the turnout, everyone in the crowd seemed to have a great time - with the overwhelming opinion being that it was a very positive event for the northern scene - this is what I set out to do so I certainly consider it a success!

Thanks again of course to all the bands and DJ's, Mark and all the Chris's at the Casbah, Tom the engineer, Tim (Nuromantic) for the flyers and website, Manda for helping me lots and lots, and all the people who helped with the stall - please pass on our thanks to those on the stall who aren't on email as I'm sure their help and enthusiasm is appreciated by all of us.

 

I hope you all stay in touch! I'm planning on getting some photos on the yahoogroup in the near future. Please feel free to post your own photos, setlists, memoirs etc on there too.

I also have a darkcitynews public yahoogroup. I will be using that for photos and stuff too - you're welcome to go check it out and add things. I will be using it to post future related events, so any of you who wish to promote future shows and nights are welcome to use it too.
