Howdy,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Once again I think that email doesn't quite
express the exact meaning you are wanting to put on your (my) words. It wasn't
that I was that angry about it, more annoyed. I did cancel my subscription to
another group because of the porn, but it just couldn't be helped. It was way
out of hand.

My memories of Shannon are wild and fun, and some I like to keep for myself, but
one thing I can tell you is that he would laugh like hell if he knew that people
cared this much about him. He always thought that he would always be a fan of
music but not really a part. He thought his contribution would always be a "bar
band". He liked to laugh and sing and make people laugh and sing.

One thing that always amazes me about people who remember Shan, is that he was a
peace loving hippie-type. He was and he wasn't. He was a hippie in the way that
people now days can be. He wasn't a reject out of the sixties, he was wild and
crazy, he acted insane, he thought he was insane for awhile. He made you feel
like the greatest person on earth, and then minutes later would cut you down and
laugh in your face, and then send you flowers to apologize. He held a grudge, he
wouldn't let you hold a grudge. If you made him mad, he was mad forever, if he
made you mad, you either got over it and moved on, or he moved on without you.
I like to think that Shan was the best and the worst in the human experience.

I would love to be at the vigual, I've been, I've hid in the shadows and smiled
at the decorations, but my husband and I have moved to Oklahoma and it's
impossible to get there. But know that I am there in spirit, and that Shannon is
too. He's there on the side, poking someone in the side and laughing, that all
that is just for him, and in his eyes no one desreved it more, and no one was
more unworthy for such attention. That's how he thought, and that's how he
probabaly still thought about it.
