I am always thinking a lot about this poem and what it meant to
shannon. i know it meant enough to him for him to have it tattooed on
his arm. i know that his great-grandmother blanche wrote it. but do
you think there are other reasons why this poem was so dear to him?
do you think he had a relationship with God towards the end of his
life? as a Christian, i wonder about this a lot. he talks a lot about
God in his music. i'm wondering what those of you who knew him think
& those of you who didnt too.
