Hi Everyone!
Thanks for making our 100th dance a huge success!!!! We appreciate your
ongoing support and for bearing with us with the last minute venue change.
Seems like most of you got the message b/c we had 113 people dancing all night
long!!! It feels great to close out our 7th season with two of our best
attended dances ever. Hopefully we'll continue to break records when we get
going again.
Since we are taking a little break, I feel the need to give you all something
else to occupy your time. Here is a smattering of festivals and other events
that I know of in and around the Tri-State area so get out your calendar!. As
always your best source for goings-on is Arn Burkhoff's website

hat" Droll - also of Dirty Rice Zydeco) has started a new series of Sunday
afternoon dance/dinner events in an intimate venue in Nyack which offers room
for dancing, great food, and a bar. It's a great family scene in the tradition
of dances as they are held in Louisiana, so bring the kids -- they really enjoy
it. We also have guest musicians sit in whenever possible. Call Laren for band
info and for bookings at (845) 494-7247. There is never a cover charge but we do
pass the hat.
