Description
Songwriters Anonymous is a community of Michigan songwriters who support each other in creating, performing, distributing, enjoying, and excelling in our music.
Most of our members come from the SE Michigan area, but we also have members from across the state and in Toledo, OH. We have been getting together once a month to find ways to work together and further our songwriting, performance, and marketing skills - and have fun while we're doing it! Although most of the people involved perform on a somewhat regular to full time basis, we also have members who are just starting to write/perform. At all levels, we want to learn more about writing, gain performance confidence, and find more places to play - this, and the companionship support of other songwriters, is why we get together.
Part of our membership requirement, in fact about our only one so far, is the ability to attend the majority of our monthly meetings. If you would like to join our group, we ask that you check out one of our meetings in person and see if it is something you would like to participate in. Please click on the "Join This Group" button and let us know your name, where you live, and a little bit about yourself. We'll get back to you and let you know when and where the next meeting will be.
