The band Song Poet are among Anderson Island's foremost practicioners of what is known as
spychadelic music, and possibly the world's.

Why this name?
We are working in the honorable tradition of giving wings to the poetic creations of the worshipper of the muse of poetry. We give each and every contributing party their own credit as a way of saying," thank you for letting me experiment with your musical composition and post it".

Do you play live?
We play where we live - in our hearts. So I guess you could say we play live in our hearts.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it possible to meet wonderful poets, and to set their words to music.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If all of our creative partners, who we respect and revere, would allow it.

Band History:
this band formed after we joined the song poet yahoo list, and learned how titans of the song poem industry have brought joy and fulfillment to people.

spychadelic ROCK songs, the genre of ROCK N ROLL

Favorite spot?
Detroit, because it's such a great ROCK town

Equipment used:
a back up beat and some other random, recordings of other people playing instroments that just happen to fit together.

I may not know everything about music, but I do know one thing's for sure.
