We are moving full steam ahead in organizing the first ever Bermuda
Songwriting & Artist Retreat 2006 being held from 5th - 8th October 2006
at the fabulous 9 Beaches Resort in Sandys, Bermuda. Information about
the retreat can be found at www.songs-and-music.com.

Here is some updated information for those planning to attend:

A) FAQ's - we have added a 'Frequently Asked Questions' page to the
retreat website at www.songs-and-music.com. This page includes valuable
information about booking your place at the retreat, travel to Bermuda,
accommodation etc.

B) What To Bring - For those of you who have booked your place at
the retreat and who wish to participate fully in the Workshops, please
make a note of the following items which you should bring:

* If you are a Songwriter, you should bring copies of your songs
on CD or cassette tape plus extra copies of your lyric sheets for the
Lyric Writing & Melody Writing Workshops.
* If you plan to participate in the Performance Workshops you
should bring your instrument (if possible) or a backing track on CD or
cassette tape.
* If you are a Recording Artists who plans to participate in the
Career Development Workshops, please bring any promotional materials
which you are currently using to promote yourself.

C) Downloads - we have included a page on the retreat website where
you can download documents relating to the retreat. See
www.songs-and-music.com for more info.

D) Accommodation @ 9 Beaches Resort (www.9beaches.com) - The block
of rooms which were being held in the reservation system at 9 Beaches
for the retreat have been released into the general reservation system.
However, you still have the opportunity to book your accommodation at
the promotional rates included on our website provided that there are
Cabana rooms still available at the time of booking. Contact 9 Beaches

E) Registration Deadline - The deadline for on-line registrations
for the Bermuda Songwriting & Artist Retreat is Friday 15th September
2006. Registration for this event after the 15th Sept will need to be
made on-site at 9 Beaches on Thursday 5th Oct; the first day of the
retreat.

F) Heather Nova - Bermudian International Recording Artist Heather
Nova (www.heathernova.com) will be participating in the retreat on
Sunday 8th Oct. We will have an informal chat and Q&A session with
Heather when she will discuss her own journey in becoming a successful
Recording Artist.
