The Riverbluff Music Festival's Performing Songwriter Competition has extended
its entry
postmark deadline to Wednesday, August 30 - plenty of time to enter your great
songs!
The festival takes place in Ashland City, TN (just north of Nashville) on
Saturday,
September 23rd.

Contest is open to performing songwriters in any genre.

The Grand Prize winner of this contest will perform a set on the mainstage of
the festival
in 2007 - last year's contest winner, Leigh Skillington, will share the 2006
bill with Jim
Lauderdale, Shawn Camp, Kevin Welch/Kieran Kane/Fats Kaplin, David Olney,
Elizabeth
Cook, Michael O'Neill and others. It's a great opportunity to be heard...more
