"players" is a colourful collection of easy swinging tracks, funky
rythms, soulful vocals, jazz and electronics from around the world
compiled by Move D.

The producers come from Stokholm, Halle/Saale, Rotterdam, Sidney,
Heidelberg, Finnland, LA, Frankfurt, Berlin, New York, Chicago, Flint
Mi and London. For most of them it is their first release.
We say, it´s high time!

The styles are as diverse as the places their makers call home.

Laid back HipHop grooves by Obadia, Exxon Yazz, Smoker´s Delight
and Ali Omar. Experiments and improvisations by Chukimai and Krii.
Cool Funk by Bangtown, Tara Rodgers and Melchior (Vulva, Yoni) &

it's about time to get busy on this list.

alex cortex ' laconic' has been released a while ago and it is doing pretty
well! (record of the month in the german de:bug magazine.)

we are currently working on a lp remix project for that, including names like:
jamie hodge (born under a rhyming planet), roman flügel (eight miles high),
larry heard (mr. fingers), seth horvitz (sutekh), kai kroker (rawell), elfish
echo, move d, ...


after a nightmare of manufacturing problems sutekh's 'every dot and tittle' 12"
has finally come out!


a limited cd release by eyephone (marc behrens) is due to release soon - this
one is an album of experimental / industrial ambience. music for the chilled
season...


next on our shedule is the compilation 'low riders' (title tbc), containing
tracks by mainly unsigned artists that reach into the styles of trip hop,
downtempo, pop / songs, 'real' instruments - a mighty challenge for labels like
compost, mo wax or the mojo compilations - you'll be surprised!!!
we are really excited about this one! breaking for new territories in the source
records sound...


last not least it looks like the next dsn (deep space network) album is finally
going to be released, soon.(no bullshit!)


conjoint (berger, hodge, moufang, ruit + reimann aka transporter) did their
first live set on the 'enjoy jazz 2000' festival in heidelberg on october the
18th - we have a high quality recording of the gig - expect it to be released -
either on hardcopy or on the internet...
