They used to drum in a beautiful park that got torn up by the hurricanes.

moon drum circles. They'll start out meeting every other Sunday, and
switch to every Sunday when the number of attendees builds back up.
See details and directions below

LAST WEEK
The Spring Equinox Bonfire Drum Circle, at Birch State Park in Ft. Lauder-
dale, was a huge success. Six hours of drumming, a huge spread of food,
and well over 100 drummers and dancers. There were two fire-dancing per-
formances, sword dancing, a beautiful ritual to welcome in the Spring, and
of course powerful drumming. 25 new drummers and dancers signed up for
this weekly newsletter - our list has now grown to almost 350! Big thanks
to Mark Foley for organizing this event! Be sure to come out for the next
one, around the Summer Solstice.

THIS FRIDAY (TOMORROW)
Last Sunday, the Stuart Drum Circle had a visit from a New York Times re-
porter. They will be featuring the drum circle, which is celebrating its
13th year, in this Friday's New York Times, in the "Escape" section. It's
not yet clear whether it will run in just the Florida edition or go nation-
al!
See details and directions below for this Sunday evening drum circle
