EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENTS - 2 EVENTS CANCELED
------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. PAGAN HEARTBEAT DRUM CIRCLE NOW CANCELED

It would normally be held at the Lake Worth Beach this Sunday, May
21st, and every other Sunday, but it is now canceled.

Michelle, the coordinator of this drum circle, has notified us that
it will no longer be held, due to a combination of low attendance
and scheduling conflicts. It was an attempt to resurrect a drum cir-
cle that was displaced last year by hurricane damage in the big park
where they drummed. The change of time and location didn't seem to
work, so it won't occur this Sunday (May 21st). Thank you, Michelle,
for all your work to try and make this circle happen. You are great!

2. WEST AFRICAN DRUMMING CLASS WITH MALICK FAYE CANCELED

It was to be held tomorrow, Saturday May 20th, at 7pm, at The Goddess
Store in Hollywood.

Due to travel difficulties, Malick cannot be back in time, so this
class is canceled. I've had the honor of being invited to drum
with Malick a few times, and he is both a Master drummer, and a
very fine and friendly man. Be sure to consider taking his classes
when they are offered again.
