Greetings and peace!

Do your research on Byron Hill and you will find out that this is a
significant player in the music business. I will leave it to you to
check into it.

Who is Byron Hill? Well, cross your fingers that he will accept our
invitation to join this forum. Today, we invited Byron to join us.

People, have you checked our links library? This is where we are
collecting links to good resources to help your career develop.

Have you placed your link into an appropriate folder? Please go into
the links and find the most appropriate folder for your link and
place it there.

What can I do for you today? Please think of me as your benevolent
mentor. I am not charging anything for my consultations. So, try me
out soon. You just might eventually decide to ask me to become your
manager or producer.

Songwriters are coming aboard. Just talked to a real talented guy
with a lot of experience. He plans to join us soon, but is having a
virus on his computer. When he gets here, I will introduce him. And
meanwhile, he and I will be meeting this Saturday for a planning
session in LaGrange. More later.

Keep your eyes open and your prayers going up. We may have started
small, but the Southern Music Association is gaining momentum. More
and more people are catching our vision and coming aboard.

We have a lot of room for any collaborators. Come and get active
with us and see what can happen when we pool our efforts together
and the synergy kicks in.

Hopefully, you have already seen one of our fund raising vehicles.
Please check it out and start your surveys at ~~
http://www.globaltestmarket.com/join.php?p=SouthernMAssoci
~~ because your points will be converted into cash donated to the
Southern Music Association. Some of these funds will be earmarked
for scholarships to be granted to our member artists to help them
pay for studio time.

Is SMA worth it to you? Well, we hope that you can see yourself in
the big picture. Meanwhile, do what you can to help SMA catch on in
the world. The more that happens, the better for you and us. Your
diligent efforts really make a difference in the long run and you
are learning the valuable lessons about team work.

SUPPORT the SOUTHERN MUSIC ASSOCIATION BY TAKING ONLINE SURVEYS

SOUTHERN MUSIC ASSOCIATION supporters can now make a financial
contribution to this organization simply by taking online surveys
about consumer products and services for an international market
research company. It's easy, fun and open to anyone who wants to
support our organization.

The SOUTHERN MUSIC ASSOCIATION recently joined the . . .
GlobalTestMarket's "Making a Difference Program," which allows all
of our supporters to become survey panelists and collectively donate
their earnings to the SOUTHERN MUSIC ASSOCIATION. As a panelist, you
will receive occasional surveys (an average of two per month), which
take about 15 minutes to answer. Each survey is about $2.50—so it
only takes about 40 surveys for the SOUTHERN MUSIC ASSOCIATION to
raise $100. The more people who register on behalf of our service
organization, the more money we can raise. Since there's no limit to
how much we can earn, our goal is to sign up family and friends to
create an incredible network of panelists who support the SOUTHERN
MUSIC ASSOCIATION. Anyone, anywhere in the world can register ~~ all
they need is a computer and Internet access.

To participate in this program, register at the . . .
http://www.globaltestmarket.com/join.php?p=SouthernMAssoci . . .
URL. You'll then be eligible to receive surveys, which ask your
opinion about a range of topics from shampoo to computers.
GlobalTest Market, a division of Seattle-based Global Market Insite,
Inc (GMI) supports an international pool of more than one million
consumer "panelists."

"If each of our members invites four friends to become panelists, we
can really increase our fundraising power," said Kenneth Aspinwall,
CEO of the SOUTHERN MUSIC ASSOCIATION.

For more information, visit GlobalTest Market at . . .
http://www.globaltestmarket.com/join.php?p=SouthernMAssoci . . .
and go to the fundraising page. Take advantage of this unique and
exciting opportunity to support the SOUTHERN MUSIC ASSOCIATION.

Make it a good day for all you meet. Thank you.

Hiya!

This forum for the Southern Music Association was launched exactly
one week ago. We are up to 9 members and almost 40 links in our
folders.

Let's break 10 before midnight!

Lets' get up to 40 links before midnight! If you have not listed
your link in our folders, please do it.

*** SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ***

I've been working on a fund raiser vehicle. I'm reviewing one now
that looks pretty good. I will try to explain how your efforts to
fund the SMA will simultanously fund your own ministry or project.
Yes, you heard me right. Ultimately, your efforts to raise funds for
the SMA could create a flow of income into your own ministry.

COST ~~ A measley $14.95 a month and is self-liquidating.

PLATFORM ~~ Everybody will do a little work to start and eventually
your part of it will go automatic. Plus you should start enjoying a
residual income for your efforts and the efforts of your patrons.

AUTOMATIC ~~ Yes, everybody will start out seeking to enroll six
patrons of the SMA. For each enrollment, you will earn a flat fee
bonus. The enrolled person will become a member of your orbit. As
each of them follows this simple plan of action, your orbit grows
larger. After six people are in each respective orbit, you become
more or less automatic. Eventually, cash flows to you in the long
run.

SIMPLICITY ~~ Yes, each person works until six paying patrons come
into your orbit. As each one of us finds six patrons, the entire
group becomes exponentially larger. So, growth comes automatically,
assuming that everyone enrolls six people. That's real simple.

CONCEPT ~~ This concept is almost too easy to understand. It's
actually a brilliant plan.

You might want to understand what it means to be self-liquidating.
The answer is simply by the time you have enrolled six members, you
are earning an income that covers your $14.95 monthly costs and your
income will continually grow as the group of patrons becomes larger
and larger.

This is why we like this plan because it eventually becomes self-
funding mechanism. Once your costs are covered, you will begin to
earn a residual income just like a royalty on a song.

How would you like to sing six times and earn for the rest of your
life? This is what it's about, but it's even bigger than that.

Each time you enroll a person, it increases the funds going into the
Southern Music Association. This is how we can raise the $2,000,000
in 2006 -- if we can make you understand the beauty of this vehicle.

There's more! After you get six patrons enrolled to the benefit of
the SMA, those six people will go out and find six more patrons to
enroll. Eventually, your position becomes self-funding. At first, it
pays for your monthly $14.95 membership fee. Once your monthly fee
has been liquidated, the number of patrons should continue to
increase. As this number begins to increase, you actually begin to
earn a monthly residual income, which is better than a royalty.

So, you start out by donating your efforts to find six patrons for
the SMA. Your enrolled patrons will follow you and they will go find
six more patrons to enroll. Each patron will be asked to do the same
action. Find six more patrons. Ultimately, the monthly funds flowing
to SMA will continually increase. This increase occurs because more
new people are continually being added to the membership register.
As the increase occurs, your position will begin to have positive
cash flow and you will receive monthly residual earnings.

Do you get the big picture? This is a funding matrix powered by the
simple goal. Each person enrolls six patrons. It's very simple and
easy to follow. Enroll six SMA patrons. As the SMA organization
grows, yours will, too. We all benefit.

Did you hear that? We all benefit!

So, if you have a following and believe there are about six patrons
who want to support you, just ask them to join our fund raiser. Let
them know that each of us has a simple task -- enroll six patrons.

This is a doubly powerful way to fund the SMA. As you are helping us
to raise funds, eventually, funds will begin flowing to you. So, you
could pitch this as a double benefit. One, they are your patron and
two, a portion of the funds go to support the SMA.

Praise God for granting me the mathematical insight to grab this
concept. Now, I pray that you are understanding my explanation. I
also pray that you will ask any questions.

Did you catch that idea? You can use this as your fund raiser. Your
fans could enroll to help you and they would also be helping to fund
the SMA. This thing has such awesome potential that we might
eventually use it to fund scholariships for deserving talents.

Is that cool? Or what?

But there's even more! The vehicle that I am looking at comes with
free autoresponders and webhosting. Some people will use them and
others may not. However, any recording artist with items for sale
can make good use of the autoresponders and the hosting features.

Well, I hope this is not confusing. If it's all new to you, please
ask any questions. Do you know six people who love music and love
you? Maybe they will be glad to help us.

Saw the invite over at SONGWRITERS AND POETS. I write original
Christian music and have set other Christ-centered texts to music as
well, including the "confession" of St. Augustine, "Late Have I Loved
You," a rough read of which I have in a file. I (and others) have sung
these songs over the last 20 years or so and they "work." Now I have
to get them "out there." Glad to make your acquaintance.

I am considering finishing up my BA in music composition/education
through EASTERN SCHOOL of MUSIC, an online/residency program out of
North Carolina and am involved in a music therapy grant based on the
work of Mickie Harts work and research on percussion and alzheimers
patients.

Right now though I am going back to work as an RN and raising the rest
of my 5 kids, twins with Down Syndrome.
God is good ...all the time! :)

*** RESPONSE TO ABOVE ***

Hi Denise!

So glad you are here. God is good and God will most likely bring the right
people here and through His empowerment, we shall do mighty exploits. I believe!

Of course, we have to be patient and wait on the Lord. Prayer and sharing won't
hurt.

Your plans sound great. Whatever a person does to improve themselves and make
themselves more useful in this Universe is God's way. So, do it all to His glory
and be prepared for something awesome.

Think of this place as a way of making friends, finding ways to collaborate,
praying together and seeing the good fruits flourish. We are fairly new and
somewhat small. So, please help us to spread the word. If we attract 1,000 faith
activated people to this forum, I expect that the excitement will be immense.

Later! Thanks.

Somebody needs to make a song about this ~~

Confessions of a Soft Drink

Hello. I am a humble effervescent liquid. Humble? Well, that is debatable. Actually, I am quite proud of myself. Allow me to brag a little.

I fizz, sparkle, and bubble my way into thousands of people all over the world, every day. I HAVE MUCH POWER! I cause masses of humanity to make beelines for snack dispensers in plush, high-rise buildings. I stir men, women and teenagers to dash into their cars late at night to speed to their nearest 24-hour convenience store.

To give me an appetizing brown tint, I contain caramel coloring, which has genetic effects and is a cancer-causing suspect. I sometimes have polyethylene glycol as one of my ingredients. Glycol is used as anti-freeze in automobiles, and as an oil solvent.

The bubbles and fizz with which I potently burn human insides is caused by my phosphoric acid. The phosphorus in the acid upsets the body's calcium-phosphorus ratio and dissolves calcium out of the bones. This can eventually result in Osteoporosis, a weakening of the skeletal structure, which can make one susceptible to broken bones. Also, the phosphorus fights with the hydrochloric acid in human stomachs and renders it ineffective. This promotes indigestion, bloating and gassiness in many individuals.

I offer a selection of three types of sweeteners, according to the customer's preference. The sweeteners are: Saccharin or Aspartame in the diet type, and sugar or corn syrup in my regular drinks. These substances enhance my appeal and come disguised as 'good' for everyone. However, tastes can be deceiving! Let me explain.

Saccharin is an articial sweetener which has raised some concern about cancer in laboratory animals. There are warning labels on containers in which saccharin is an ingredient. Aspartame, the more common "diet" sweetener, has been linked to convulsions, depression, insomnia, irritability, weakness, dizziness, headaches, mood changes and mental retardation. Sugar and Corn Syrup can induce both hypoglycemia (low bood sugar) and hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) in susceptible individuals. Hypoglycemia has been linked to mental illness and hyperglycemia to diabetes. Sugar gives you a lift of burst of energy, then sends you crashing down to severe fatigue. To get another charge, more sugary drinks are consumed. This pattern exhausts the adrenal glands and leaves a person with a chronic tired feeling.

Gorgeous!! That's what I am! I come dressed in a shiny metal can in various colors and tints. Sometimes I am silver, sometimes golds, blue, red, etc. I beckon and dazzle shoppers as they stroll past me in the supermarket. On a hot day, I am especially attractive and hands reach for cases of me to share with friends at picnics and parties. However, I am very tricky. My thirst-quenching liquid, which is alluringly encased in the aluminum can, contains traces of the same metal. The acid in the soft drink eats away the aluminum, which floats around until it is ingested by the consumer. Aluminum is a very toxic substance and builds up in the human body. It has a particular affinity for the brain and has been linked to the degenerative senility affliction, Alzheimer's Disease.

Many times humans think they can lose weight by drinking me in the "diet" form. Not so! My high sodium content helps them retain water in their bodies and they become edemic. The kidneys and bladder do not function properly after a long habit of soft drink intake. The sugar in me destroys the beneficial flora in the colon and constipation results. This locks the toxins in the body so they cannot be eliminated properly. The blood is not pure, as a result, and the cells are affected. In order to lose weight, fat must be flushed from the cells. The enzymes responsible for aiding the process of fat release are paralyzed when they are poisoned, and so cannot do their job. People defeat their purpose when they try to lose weight by drinking me.

In conclusion, I would like to admit there is not a smidgen of humility in me. I am very egotistical! I am master over much of the decision-making ability of the human race. HA! You don't believe me??? Look on school campuses, in city parks, at ball games, in business offices, at street corners...anywhere there are people...SEE YOU AROUND!

Have a great, soft-drink free day!

Greetings All!

Just felt the need to get ourselves re-orientated since we have new
people coming in all the time. Plus, I will offer a bit of a summary
to give you a feeling for the resources we seem to have available in
the various members.

First of all, with less than ten members, we are already global and
yet, we are local and regional. So geographically, about 1/3 of the
current membership is local. We have one member in the UK and the
rest are around the USA.

Talent wise, we have quite a variety of experience. One gentleman is
an artist, but he has also managed tours. He is making plans to come
to the USA. Listen up for Adrian.

We have an artist from Texas. Sarah already has CD's and she already
has booked some events. She does have some southeastern dates slated
and open room on her calendar. So, let's see what we can do to help
her fill in some dates on that tour. I've requested a promo kit and
have obtained an extra one to forward to organizations promoting
Christian concerts. Please ask for it, if you can help Sarah get on
a venue in your area.

We've managed to attract performers and songwriters. I just got off
the phone with a person connected with Blackberry Smoke. She tells
me they are hotter than hot, have opened with Lynnard Skynnard and
many others. They've been in Nashville and getting the run around.
So, I urged the lady to have them call me to see what we can do.

She mentioned they had been advised to get a publisher and make
their own CD. I would like to hear your comments about that idea. If
you know this would be a good option, do tell. I'm a bit on the old
system where you publish, to produce, to sign with a label. Or you
get material from a publisher to produce and sign.

I also believe that a good manager or producer or publisher should
be on your team or else you are weakening yourself by trying to do
too much. This is why I left touring, started booking and gravitated
towards all three. Today, I am set up to handle managment-publishing-
production and this gives me flexibility.

For example, if a band approaches me and they have a manager and a
producer already set. The only thing I can do is to spot them song
material. Let me tell you why I don't worry about controlling all
three of these bases.

I only need one thing with an artist and my preference is to produce
your record. A good producer can shop your record, if he believes in
it. You piggy back on his connections. Plus you have one more
creative person on your team plus the session men he works with, not
to mention other songwriters.

When I can, I like to get publishing rights. This creates a second
stream of income, which provides promotion money. I knew a publisher
who had nearly ten people in his office. They were publicists,
promoters and admin people. Their targets were to get the record
played on all the stations, get the sheet music distributed,
capitalize on other ways of exploiting the market and auditing the
royalties. Since I prefer to be your producer, I would gladly sign
the rights over to a heavy duty publisher who has a team like this
building your image and your bank account. Besides, the more records
they sell, I will make my share as a producer. It's all a matter of
synergy and it works to bolster the artist.

Artist Management is something special that I reserve for a road
warrior with a record being played and going up the charts. I want
you to know that I will turn right around and find this artist a
good agent. I might even find a publisher for them, but I want to
keep managment and production.

Why this? If I am their producer, I can help them keep the creative
juices flowing. I can always call in a songwriting team or another
producer. I'm still the manager. As their manager, I cna handle all
the official matters, accounting, publicity, obtaining agents and
working with them and mange their tours.

Manager-Producer combination is good because their seasons do not
overlap too much. In other words, while you are in the studio, you
are not thinking about the road. When they go out on tour, the
studio is not an issue. I feel very comfortable in the manager-
producer role because it's a good combination for me. As a manager,
I would outsource things like publicity. As my company grows, I will
even bring some of these functions in house.

Look at this scenario:

Band ~~ Dennis Yost & the Classics IV
Producer ~~ Buddy Buie
Manager ~~ Larry Cochran
Songs ~~ internal & external sources
Publisher ~~ Lowery Music
Agent ~~ Wm. Morris
Label ~~ MGM
Concerts ~~ various promoters

This is what happens when people get good. They start getting big
careers that require these services. I know what to expect, what to
do next and where to go to get things done right. Small thinkers
believe they can handle all of this, but they don't ever and they
stay small.

Why am I willing to outsource all this? Well, by getting the right
people on the team, your career can go to the moon and back. Have
you ever wondered why an especially talented person could never get
their career off the ground?

Long story short, they don't have enough understanding to harness
the power of this industry. They see money going out, but they
cannot envision a fatter paycheck anyway. Their bad!

I'm also a Realtor. Don't list your property with somebody who will
sit on their can and wait for something to happen. Get with a person
who will make it happen. They are worth the money you pay them.

Every artist goes through the rocket phase, if they can even get
that far. However, there's always the day when they become a
standard act. So, there's a small window of five to ten years to
take advantage of the rocket phase. Don't waste it dawdling around
because you think you know more than you really know.

At the same time, don't do like Blackberry Smoke and allow people to
waste years. Yes! Years! Their friend told me that they have wasted
years talking to people who talk and nothing helpful ever happens.

Folks, if you are good enough to open for Lynnard Skynnard, only an
idiot would miss that signal. That's a green light, if there ever
was one. Find somebody who takes you serious and his not cracked in
the head. Get her done!

Please don't be offended. I don't usually call names, but did it for
the sake of brevity. Why should I write a white paper about idiotic
stuff that people do? Listen, being a dummy can cost you money and
it can cost you credibility and it can cost you a career.

I am a plain spoken guy. The world needs people like me to keep the
lenses clean on the spectacles.

Well enough for now. Please give me your input about getting a
publisher and making your own CD's. Is there an effective way to
market your products through a pipeline?

Thanks for the invitation to be a part of this group. Don't know what
I can add, but we'll see. I am a student minister in LaGrange, GA. I
have experience in building and re-building and re-building youth
bands to lead worship for students. I am also a part of the John
Fuller band, Christian band, focused on glorifying God through music.
Looking forward to learning and sharing my small amount of musical

Wow!

Take a look at what has happened to the forum. Activity within 7
days: 7 New Members - 37 New Links - 12 New Messages

Thank you!

Knowing that I haven't sent out very many invitations and knowing
how the internet can be, I want to thank all of you for joining the
forum. Some of you have shared with me already and I can see the
formation of collaboration on the horizon.

Since you are the first to be here, you have earned the place of a
first mover and your influence here can be a good thing. Please
think of yourself as a co-owner. Feel free to approach me with
possibilities because I am not a limited thinker.

My next request is for you to take ownership of your piece of this
forum. Go click the links and review the folders. Pick a few that
interest you and click inside to see what's there. I think that you
will begin to see a good picture of skilled and talented people who
desire to collaborate. Speaking of which, don't miss the joint
venture folder.

I would really like for us to use this forum to discuss joint
venturing with a view towards us working on a project together
sometime. For instance, what if we could assemble 10,000 members and
ask each one to contribute $100 for the purchase of a radio station.

What on earth could we do with a radio station? Well, if it
collectively belonged to us because we are members of the SMA, I
suppose we could use it to showcase our stuff. Wow!

Don't think small. Don't think small. My greatest gift to you is to
b the visionary that I am and call you into the vision. Your task is
to repeat the story and help get it out there.

If one of our artists did a CD and we had 1,000's of forum members
and many actively collaborating, what would be the impact on the
market? Think big. Think big and tell the small thinkers to step out
of the way and let you pass.

Do it nicely. We want to leave a good impression.

Well, that's enough excitement for now. Be visionary!

Greetings Music Lovers!

There's a serious rumor going around about a Christian music festival in the works for LaGrange, Georgia. Join this forum and we will keep you posted. Get your friends to join and we'll keep them posted.

There's another story going around and it is a fact. The Southern Music Association was recently formed to help aspiring musicians transform into a professional career. We are on a membership drive and people are joining at the rate of 400% and we are totally excited about the possibilities.

Music has changed for the better in the past twenty years. We are seeing evidence of that locally and globally. One of the first things we want to accomplish in LaGrange is to see that this festival happens. After that, we want to keep on keeping on, until this city goes on the map for being a place that incubates some of the finest talent in the world.

Would you like to be a part of this dream? Come on! We need your help and we are not trying to keep anybody out of it.

Back soon. Good day.

Greetings!

It can be amazing, yes, nearly unbelieveable. So much can be
accomplished when people get focused on one major project, which
happens to be designed to create ultimate benefits for all.

When working with Intercel, this company proved to be excellent at
cross training their people. In our company culture, we had an
understanding that a co-worker could always ask another one for
help. It led to all of us educating and learning from one another.
It also led to our company being able to deliver a most excellent
experience to our customers. We were always on top of our game in
the markets we served. It was a given.

SYNERGY 1 : SYNERGISM; broadly : combined action or operation
2 : a mutually advantageous conjunction or compatibility of distinct
business participants or elements (as resources or efforts).

SYNERGY comes from the Greek word ENERGEO, which is our base word
for energy. However, SYNERGY is the power that comes from many
people working together to create something far more powerful than
they could accomplish on their own.

So, you see that I am already sharing a dream, trying not to call it
my dream. It's a vision that requires many people coming together to
accomplish something great. It's our dream. OK?

I just told you a brief story about synergy. I revealed how applying
synergy in our company kept us on the top of our market every day.

Let us always remember why we named ourselves an association. The
word itself implies synergy. Together, we can get great things done.

Now, what's your story? Tell us how you've seen the power of
collaboration work in your life and business.

Greetings All.

It is so good to see this day old forum growing at a good pace.
Please keep sharing the vision of the Southern Music Association
with your friends, patrons and collaborators. Our intention is to
build a very large group of music lovers and create a synergy
designed to help advance the careers and interests of every active
member.

HOW TO JOIN THE SMA FORUM

One way is to send this link ~~
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/SouthernMA/ ~~
in all of your emails. Perhaps, you can use your email Options and
set up a signature that automatically goes out with each email you
send.

You will want to create a little urgency and excitement about it.
You might craft a message that says something like:

Have you heard? The Southern Music Association has been formed to
bring the artists, their fans and patrons together in order to build
a massive community to encourage the careers of deserving artists.
Our family supports the SMA intentions and we urge you to join with
us today. Go to ~~ http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/SouthernMA/
~~ and look for the blue JOIN button. Click and join today!

*** Please copy this message and append to all of your outgoing
email. This will help us to give the message the widest possible
circulation. Thank you. ***

AN EVEN SIMPLER WAY TO JOIN

To subscribe to the Southern Music Association forum, simply send a
blank email to SouthernMA-subscribe@yahoogroups.com today. Thanks.

THE LINKS LIBRARY IS NOW OPEN

Maybe you noticed that whenever you are on the forum, every page has
a navigation bar to the left of the page. Scan down and find "Links"
and click right into the Links Library.

There you will find a group of folders. Each one has a description
about how to use it. You will not need all of the folders, but
please place a link to your home page in the most appropriate
folder. If you experience any difficulty, just send your link in a
post and request that the link be placed for you.

Here's an example. If you have a garage band, there's a folder for
this. If you are an artist and ready to pursue your music career,
you have a folder for that. Actually, there are about 20 folders and
we think that we've covered all the bases, including fan clubs.
Surely, there will be a folder for your web link. If not, just make
a new folder or ask us to do it.

We are already populating the Links Library. However, some folders
remain empty. So, if you have a band site or a business site, put it
in the folder that best describes you.

LET'S START A NEW TOPIC

Let's talk about the art of collaborating. If you have a story about
a collaboration that worked especially well, respond with anything
potentially helpful. Any joint venture should be described in enough
detail that we can learn how to duplicate the effort ourselves.

This is the way we can make this forum become a powerful tool for
everyone. If knowledge is power, then sharing knowledge is even more
powerful.

HOW TO USE INTERNET RESOURCES EFFECTIVELY

I've taken the time to explain a little about using this resource.
The internet and certain softwares can be very helpful. For example,
I love spreadsheets because they can be so versatile. They are
especially good when making lists and comparing data.

As you can see, I also like the Yahoo Groups. I was on eGroups
before Yahoo bought them out a few years ago. It's free and very
versatile. You can see where we built the Links Library, which is
already in place. We can also do Polls and use the Calendar.

More info to come. Hope your day is going well.

Hi Dave,

If you want east coast USA, your best three choices would be NY, Nashville and Atlanta for their music platforms. As a Realtor, where ever you choose to go, I can help you connect with a realty professional to help you find the home you want. Just say the word and I will do that for you.

Just got done setting up the folders in our links file. Be sure to get into the SMA forum links and place your web link in the best position. You will see my descriptions for each folder that will guide you.

All the best.

Hi Ken:
We have been exchanging memories and ideas for a few days. I'm glad
you're getting this rolling. There are some of us survivors still out
there and I will put you in touch with as many as I can. We are
willing to play whatever venues you need a band at.

Hi Dave,

One thing we want to do is to exchange knowledge. After noticing that
you have managed tours, maybe you can tell us how one could get into
the action. Were you wearing more than one hat? What responsibilities
did you hold?

This forum is so new, you can hold off until more people show up.
Meanwhile, keep on keeping on.
