I am not the original recorder, but I have in the past used a program
to manually clear out the blank samples left by the mp3 compression,
and actually the files on my computer are split in a different place
than they originally were. I don't have the unsplit versions, but I
can easily make them again (least I can do for someone who's finally
digitizing the video!), or just point you in the direction of the
program I used (it's called Wavepad and is free).
