Greetings, doctor-

Sadly, I have no movies. Though I keep hoping to
catch Keith in a, um, "candid" moment. But he's
put aluminum foil over his windows. But I'm not
going to take it personally...

Regarding D & W, I can see Don as a metrosexual,
but I believe Walt would have to a makeover from
the Fab Five to qualify as a card-carrying metro;
the hair would have to go and he would need to be
trained in the proper use of grooming products.
But then he'd no longer be our unique WB, would he?

Hey Laura-

Glad to be back! Speaking of meaningful, did you
all notice the final message tally for January?
More than three times as many as December, which
was a record-breaking Dan month. Here's to us!

I wish him well. I'm just glad we no longer live under the same roof. Too many
times, intelligent debate soon broke down into sarcastic sparring matches...

Alright then, laddy, the first joke that sprang to mind is this:

What's the difference between an Irish funeral and an Irish wedding?

One less drunk.

Peace,

When it comes to people afflicted with the disease of alcoholism, I've seen them
come from all races, colors, nationalities, genders (ok, only two genders... so
far!) and socio-economic strata. Alcoholism's an equal opportunity offender,
and it does not discriminate. But, damn! Those Irish sure love to drink!!!

Gave up drinking in 1987. Don't miss it. Alcoholism and alcoholics are in both
my wife's and my families, especially hers. A true curse of the Irish. :-(

Glad you were able to stop on your own. I've met thousands of people
(literally) who were unable to give up alcohol, even for brief periods, without
professional help.

First, a question or two:

1) How did they get inside the lightbulb?!?

2) Are these little tiny Irishmen, or are we talking about a HUGE lightbulb
here?

Just looking for clarification. ;-)

Peace,
Keith

Hi, Mike--

I hope you're able to find the answer to your question. As yet, I've not been
able to find it for you.

Congrats on the 18-1/2 years! As you prob'ly know, the "price" you mentioned
never goes down; it increases every time around.

Speaking of Steven Wright and sudden death, I finally realized that I've been
using a Steven Wright line for years (several of them, actually, but one
pertinent to this) re: sudden death:

"They said 'he died suddenly'. _Everybody_ dies suddenly. You're alive...
you're alive... you're alive... You're dead."

Unbeknownst to me until the other night, he's also quite a competent guitarist!
His songs were hilarious, of course. One consisted entirely of mumbled,
incoherent lyrics which nearly brought the house down. He introduced the other
by saying, "I wrote this song when I was three. It's called I Think the
Kitten's Trying To Kill Me. It doesn't go _something_ like this... it goes
_exactly_ like this." Lyrics included "I think the kitten's trying to kill
me/I'd better kill him first", "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty... we're gonna play a
new kind of funny game today" and "Where are the big scissors?"

Peace,
Keith

Hi Piece--

Thanks for the link to the story. However, I've noticed that no domestic
paper is running a shot of the "offending item" (good grief, it's a
breast!), yet the foreign press had no qualms about it.

Well you know. Being the resident new agey gal I
can't meditate if I have had one small wine cooler-
like drink or light beer. I like to meditate daily.
Not only is the root of intoxicated "toxic" the
nickname for booze is "spirits". In any case, I have
nothing against those who drink, I just like to see
people (including myself) have a very nice quality of
life. And it can be a bit difficult if you poison yer
body on a regular basis.
