Wow - I really can't wait for this book. Newbie to this group but
not to Styx (well, I was 11 at the Paradise Theater concert in
Providence, RI - so back then I was!!) I wouldn't have picked JY as
the main holdout but considering what he said on Behind the Music I
shouldn't be too surprised. It's nice to hear new things about a
group you've followed your whole life, and this book will be a
treat. I guess I'll have to drag my KWH tourbook out now, weird
robot and all. I can't help but wonder how things would have shaped
up had that album never been made, or were the old wounds never
closed?? That said, I love Cyclorama and still listen to it, and I
keep checking DDY's site for tour dates. Have a good night all ---
Sean
p.s. Is this a Styx forum too, or just for the book? Just curious.

band of instrumentalists. Truth is, most people who go to see it are
there because of the past, not the present. Dennis, too. As it has
always been, the fan demand will slowly push them back together,
even against some of their will.

I know, I'm really sorry this did not happen for Christmas, it's such a huge selling time for books. But some things are unforseen.
The price was actually one production issue, I overshot the # of pages and it was going to be waaay too much for anyone other than an extreme Styx fan, so that's part of what we're working on . . . not taking much out, but re-editing a bit tighter and then shrinking the font to make fewer pages and a lower unit price. So I will know that soon.
Thanks, I hope all is well.

Some quick questions:
1) After all your interviews & research, do you think a Styx reunion
is out of the question (esp. given the past/current legal actions)
or perhaps a possibility ? Many groups which were assumed to be

Initially the book will be available at my website and through Amazon.com. If that goes well enough, then maybe I'll be able to get the chains interested. I know Borders.com and Target.com will have it for order, but I'll be surprised if it's in the actual store, at least at first. I'm not exactly Stephen King, lol. But if I can demonstrate some demand then they will get on board.
I will announce a new release date soon. Thanks!
