I had lunch with Adrian this afternoon. He was resplendent in some
new, very blue, PJs and was looking pretty good for a guy who was
supposed to be checking out yesterday.

As previously noted, the predictions from his doctor are still
incorrect and Adrian is still hanging in there. Except for the pain
and fatigue, he sez he still feels pretty good. He's pretty much a
stick with eyes by now but will go in his own sweet time regardless
of what doctors tell him.

He made it to another milestone. His oldest boy's birthday is
tomorrow and Charlie will be 21. I brought Adrian a six-pack of Sam
Adams so they can share that first father/son beer on his special day.

He's taking it one day at a time. If you were planning on visiting,
emailing, sending a card, or making an entry in his CaringBridge web
site, the time for procrastination is over. I'd get'er done asap, if
I were you.
