Last weekend I went to London for two radio sessions and a last minute-scheduled show
at the very nice Notting Hill Arts club. The gig went well although it was a hectic
experience. In this club the speakers are behind the band, .... no monitors, the drumkit
wasn't allowed to be amped and the hairdresser from upstairs took out all the low-end
half way through the set. The two sessions for BBC were fun!
The one for Radio 3's Mixing It will be aired 15th April, 10.15pm. Special guest to this
session is a genuine art-whistler (you know...the ones that do contests)
The session for radio 1 will be aired by Huw Stephens on April 12th 23.00 UK time. Both
sessions will be online for a week.
