Greetings Music Lovers,

This week on Time After Island Time we are celebrating our second
birthday! Yes, Time After Island Time is two years old. To honor this
momentus occasion we have a very special episode for you.

This week we present a memorial to the late great Harold Arlen. Not
everyone recognizes his name, but all know his music. His brilliant
compositions include "It's Only a Paper Moon," "Over the
Rainbow," "One for my Baby and One for the Road," and ALL of the
music from the timeless movie "The Wizard of Oz." In all honesty the
list goes on and on. HE IS AMERICAN MUSIC.

Joining us in the studio this week is Sam Arlen, the son of the late
great Harold Arlen. Sam Arlen is a saxophonist and the head of the S.
A. Music company, which oversees the publishing of Harold Arlen's
extensive song catalogue.

Get taken back in time with artists like Frank Sinatra and Harry
Connick Jr. and even some steel drum versions of Mr. Arlens music.
Lots of different artists, all covering one great songwriter--the
Legendary Harold Arlen!
