Hello Phriends,
It gives me great pleasure to finally announce the release
of "Out of The Hole." The new CD by myself and my life long friend
Ken Mercer. Some of you may be aware of the CD that Ken and I
released in 2001. It was entitled "Let Go" and was a successful
ground breaking concept CD of spiritual recovery soft rock
music. "Let Go" told Ken's life story in song of his 22 year
drug/alcohol addiction that eventually ended in his spiritual
recovery. That recovery was halted however when Ken had a very
unsuspected relapse that ended in a deep coma with end stage liver
disease in December of 2004. We all spent Christmas of that year
getting Ken's affairs in order and preparing for his funeral.
Fortunately, there are miracles that do happen in this world and
Ken is definitely one of them. "Out of The Hole" is "Let Go"
revisited along with Ken's words detailing what has happened to him
and the amazing place in lifer where he is today. We realize this
message and music may not relate to you personally, but if you know
ANYONE who suffers, or has suffered from ANY kind of addiction, we
ask you to PLEASE forward this information to them. Ken is extremely
involved in recovery work in Atlanta on a daily basis and is always
