Hello Everybody -

The Band Council is very happy to announce the beginning of our
tutoring program with Weyanoke Elementary School!

This year we are starting a once-a-week program (Friday B Blocks) for a
few 5th grade students and volunteer TJ band students. We are
currently in need of 4 clarinet players, 1 mallet percussionist, and 1
flute player who can volunteer to tutor beginning musicians. One or
more of the volunteers will need to be able to pick up the students at
Weyanoke and then walk them back to school after the tutoring.

Service hours will be awarded for any volunteers, along with plentiful
band music and service points.
