Hey guys,

We've got a couple service opportunities coming up (it's never too early to
start earning your letter points...) for those of you who are interested.

On Wednesday, July 21st, we need 12-16 volunteers to come to the main office
at TJ to help "stuff packets". The band program is required to have at
least 12 people there, so it's imperative that we get some volunteers. The
packet stuffing should last from 10 AM until sometime between 12 and 1 PM.
For those of you in summer school, your help at lunchtime would be
appreciated, but we still have to have 12 people present at 10 AM. If you

On Saturday, July 24th from 10 AM to 4 PM there will be a Band Council
carwash held at the Wal-Mart in Burke. If you are interested in helping at
this, please remember to sign up at rehearsal on Thursday. Volunteers are
obviously needed; the more people we have volunteer, the more money we can
earn for new equipment, etc.

Each of these service opportunities will be worth 2 service points per hour.
