TJ Band Members & Families,

As most of you know, the TJ band program is hosting a Winter Showcase
drumline and guard competition this coming Saturday (Feb. 5th). I have two
requests to ask of you:

1) If there are any students that would like to volunteer for any interval
of time between noon and 11 PM, please email me
(kristin_spelling@...) ASAP. We still need more students to help!
High-school age (or older) siblings are welcome too. (If there are any
other parents would would like to volunteer, please contact Connie
Desrosiers).

2) If any students or parents would be willing to bake (not buy!) cookies
or brownies to sell at the Concessions stand, it would be greatly
appreciated. We'll give students 1 service point per dozen
cookies/brownies. The baked goods can be dropped off in the band room on
Friday, February 4th or they can be brought on the day of the showcase
(February 5th). It would be appreciated if the baked goods were packaged
individually in either plastic wrap or plastic bags. (If cookies/brownies
are small, you may want to put two in each bag so that we can sell them for
about 75 cents). Again, please let me know if you plan to bake so I'll have
an estimate to give to the concessions volunteers.
