Just a reminder that uniform fittings will be held on August 16, 17, &
18 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We will be in the band room at
4 pm.

Vets

•Dust off your marching band box and check for your gloves, socks,
long sleeved tee-shirt, and plume (if applicable).
•Try on your shoes to see if they fit. (Clean them!?)
•Come on Tuesday if you would like to try and get last year's
uniform
- I saved the numbers!
•Finally - Don't forget your stuff for picture day on Saturday,
August
27th.

Rookies

•Bring a pair of lightweight socks to try on uniform shoes.
•Be prepared to try on various items of clothing.
•Although the process isn't quick, it is painless. (Unless
you stab
yourself hemming your pants)
•Ordered items will be picked up on picture day Saturday, August
27th.
(Long sleeved tee-shirts will be distributed later in the season)

Hemming

If you enjoy sewing I could really use you on fitting days to hem
pants. It seems that we did not get a good response this year.

We will be allowing students to bring home their uniform if it needs
hemming making it the responsibility of the parents/guardians to get
this task done. If your pants and/or jacket need to be hemmed only
use a needle and thread (no hem tape and absolutely no cutting).

Bills

Bills will be distributed on Sunday, August 21st at Orkney
registration. Bring your checkbook, pay, and save yourself the stamp!
Besides paying for child's uniform the band boosters have many
wonderful items available for sale that morning. Show your support
for TJMC!
