Some important info for you!

 

Spring Band Trip forms - Students, if you can, please bring your Spring Band Trip forms to school on Friday, rather than waiting until Monday. It will make life a whole lot easier for the trip planners to get the paperwork together and organized this weekend, so they don’t have to pull an “all nighter”. That way the chaperones will be refreshed and perky, ready to lead songs on the band bus (jk).

 

Band Banquet form – While you are getting your parents to sign things, attached is the Band Banquet form which is due May 30, shortly after the band trip. Remember you can subtract your band credits, unless you are saving them up for band camp or next year expenses. So go ahead and turn in the banquet form, now, to the envelope in the band hallway.

 

Curricular Band Letter sheet – Speaking of envelopes in the band hallway, there is an envelope for your completed Curricular Band letter sheets, also due on May 30. The envelope indicates to talk to Mike Gold or Katie Ramsey if you have questions.

Jazz Cabaret – Speaking of May 30, the amazing Jazz Cabaret is that Wednesday night at 7:00p.m. This evening of “up-beat music and syncopated refreshments” is provided by Jazz I and II ensembles along with a special guest trumpeter. Show the attached flyer with details to your parents too! Contact VA_Cruz@cox.net to order your discounted advance tickets. Bring some friends and enjoy a great night out at the TJ “New Orleans Café”.

TJMC photos – Speaking of great nights, some TJMC students still have pictures from the evening band performance in Annapolis. The following students need to pick up their photos from Ms. Ulrey NOW, or they (the photos!) will soon be history: Benjamin, Besson, Bullen, Carey, Dominy, Ferris, Ganskopp, Gold – Michael and Brian, Hamilton, Harmon, Henricks, Houck, Jaskot, Johnston, Lauder, Maier, Mercado, Mihaloew, Miller, Muldoon, Noel, Ramsey, Schwenk, Walch.

 

So…print this, gather up and complete your forms, get your parent’s signatures, set out your forms to bring to school, and plan to pick up your photos tomorrow, so you can mark these things off your “to do” list…then get some sleep!
