Attention TJMC-ers! It is that time of the season again for the TJMC
Show Shirt Design Contest!

For those of you rookies who have no idea what I am talking about,
every season we have a t-shirt that represents the show theme of the
year, and it is designed by one of our very own marchers!

This year, our shirt is going to be navy blue, and while we do not
have a definite name for the show quite yet, it is going to be
something along the lines of "Celestial Journey" (If you can think of
something better, please contact one of the DMs, or your section
leader so that they can pass it on).

If you really want to submit a design, but have no idea where to
start, past designs have had this general layout:

Front:
- Small simple logo on the front left pocket that includes "TJMC" and
the season (2007)
*One year there was a large, centered design on the front, but it
was not as popular as the smaller logos

Back:
- Larger design that displays what our theme is.
*Past designs have been Zorro on a rearing horse in the sunset, A
large, Russian Palace, or a modern sillouette of Jekyl and Hyde.
- The name of the show
*Although we don't have a definite name yet, design around the
name slot for now, and we will inform you as soon as possible.

Keep in mind that our music this year encompasses:

- Mars and Mercury
- E.T.
- Krypton (From Superman)
- A Final Fantasy Drum Break

You can either design a front, a back, or both. Depending on the
kinds of submissions we get, we will either vote for fronts and backs
seperatly, as we did in the 2005 season, or as a package, as in the
2004 and 2006 seasons.

We do not have a definite deadline yet, but it will most likely be in
early August. As soon as we have all of the designs we will post them
in the photo section of the Group and set up a poll so that all of
the members can vote.

So get designing, and see all you marchers tomorrow!
