Unfortunately, our spring trip plans have been foiled once again.  Due to the busy lives of our band students here at TJ, it became more and more evident that even a one-day trip would not be possible.  The end of the year is always a busy time! 

In the meantime...we have a busy week coming up!  Wednesday afternoon (around 5-6) is freshman preview night, when the class of 2012 comes in to scope out all of the activities at TJ.  It would be great if some enthusiastic volunteers could come and stand at our booth and tell the kids all the wonderful things about band.  Thursday night at 6:30 is All Things Band Night when students who are interested in band come and hear a small presentation.  We need kids to be there so that we can answer questions from nervous and excited students and parents.  After the big panel discussion, all of the students go into the band room and we do a fun ice breaker and break up into sections for a meet and greet type thing. Everyone is welcome to come, the more the merrier!
