Hi Everyone,
Please disregard this message. Although I sent it out on
Wednesday, it was not delivered until today. I don’t know what happened
but I’m sorry for any confusion.
The fittings went well but there are still a few vets to be
fitted when they return to practice in a week. A very big Thank You to everyone
who came to help again. The shoes will be ordered tomorrow so that they will
arrive in time for band camp at Orkney Springs. If anyone still needs any band
accessories, please let me know.
Thank You,
Kelley Perconti

Subject: [TJMCDM] TJMC Uniform Fittings - Part two - Help Needed Again!
Thank you to
everyone who came to help last week. It always seems a little chaotic but
everyone pulls together to help get it done. But there is still more
to do and help will be needed again this week.
Almost all the freshmen went through the accessories
fittings. I still need to fit the following freshman band members for
accessories (most importantly SHOES): Thomas Beekhuysen and Kalvin Harrigal. In
order to have the shoes in time for band camp, I will need to place the order
very soon. If any returning vets need new shoes or other accessories, please
see me at practice this week.
Correction for Freshman accessories: most will pay $62
for accessories. Pit (no hat or gloves) $47, drumline (no gloves) $ 57.
The following returning band members still need to try
on their uniforms from last year so adjustments can be made if needed:
Jacob Dominy, Lauren Houck, Yurianna Huh, Aaron
Koenig, Andrew Koons, Vivian Lu, David Mazzocco, Kennan Murphy-Sierra, Andrew Rowberg,
Sydney Schrider, Patrick Stalcup, and Dave Wyman.
We’d like to finish the vets so we can begin the
rookie fittings.
Vinny DeVito – Please see me for a hat fitting.
Ellen Zhong – instrument change? Do you still
need a hat?
Vivian Lu and Aaron Koenig – please see me about
tuba berets.
Most freshman still need to be fitted for uniforms. If
we have enough help, hopefully we can get them all fitted this week.
Uniform fittings will take place again during regular
practice time on Thursday, July 30 from 4 to 8. Help with
uniform fittings is still needed.
Thank
You,
Kelley Perconti

Subject: TJMC Uniform Fittings - Help Needed!
Help
Needed! The major uniform fittings for TJMC will occur on July 23.
Follow up fittings will occur on July 30. Please have your student bring a
check to pay their uniform fee if they have not already done so. Vets will only
need to pay for any items they are replacing. Checks can be made out to TJ
Band Boosters. For freshmen, the cost is $62. For vets, the costs as needed
are as follows:
Plume
- $10 (used plumes – vets only $5)
Shoes
- $35
Gloves
- $5
Black
long sleeve t-shirt - $12
Ms.
Ulrey would like to have band members wear their hats and shoes at band camp in
Orkney Springs. In order to have the shoes delivered in time, all shoe fittings
need to be completed by July 30. Please let me know ASAP if this will be a
problem for your student.
A
lot of help will be needed on July 23. Help will also be needed on July 30 (but
hopefully, not as much). If you can help either of these dates, please let me
know. On July 23 we will be fitting everyone who needs shoes, gloves, hats, and
black long sleeve t-shirts (mostly freshmen and vets as needed). I would also
like to continue with uniform fittings. On July 23, we need at least two people
to fit shoes, one to fit gloves, one or two to fit hats, one or two to fit
t-shirts, one to receive and record checks, and three or more to help with
uniform fittings so please come to help out if you can. You’ll get
to meet some of the other parents and band members and I’ll be forever
grateful!
Thank
You,
