Hey everyone!
As we all know, our show name is Visionaries! So
now the next step is to get a show shirt design through a design
contest! For those of you rookies who have no idea what I am talking
about, every season we have a t-shirt that represents the show theme
of the year, and it is designed by one of our very own marchers!

This year, our shirt is going to be ROYAL BLUE.

If you really want to submit a design, but have no idea where to
start, past designs have had this general layout:

Front:
- Small simple logo on the front left pocket that includes "TJMC" and
the season (2009)
-Limit to three colors
-No shading
*One year there was a large, centered design on the front, but it
was not as popular as the smaller logos

Back:
- Larger design that displays what our theme is.
- The name of the show (Visionaries)

Keep in mind that our music this year encompasses:
- Pictures at an Exhibition
- Blue Shades
- Music from the movie "Pollock"

We also need a design for a puffy paint shirt that encompasses the
following:
-Only a front design
-Limit to black on white
-A SIMPLE design that includes the year (2009) and "TJMC"
-Can be, but is not required to be related to the show. If you want
examples of past designs, talk to me.

You can either design a front, a back, or both. Depending on the
kinds of submissions we get, we will either vote for fronts and backs
separately, or as a package.

The deadline for submissions is AUGUST 7th, 2009. As soon as we have
all of the designs we will post them in the photo section of the Group
and set up a poll so that all of the members can vote (i.e. this weekend).
