TexasDrumsDances CommUnity is about discussion and announcements related to hand-drumming and dance in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado and New Mexico from North to South; from East to West - bringing our drum and dance commUnity closer together.
Hand-drumming in this region, is about West African drumming, with the djembe, ashiko and dunduns; Middle Eastern with doumbecs and belly dancing; Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian and Latin rhythms, with congas, cahons, claves, shakers, timbales etc. Our web site, http://texasdrums.drums.org .


As this is both an announcement and discussion list, there can be one or more of the many subscribers discussing circle dynamics, announcements, rhythms, notations. It's all part of our growth along the path to joy and understanding of the drums and dances. We are Inclusive rather than Exclusive.
