I suppose you could say I have been "playing" for about seven years.
No real formal experience and absolutely no memory or knack for
playing popular songs.

More or less dink around and pluck and strum randomly. Have become
far to sporadic in my playing so that even that sounds miserable.

Any ideas for a no music playin' plucker/strummer to refine his skills
and actually develop something that might sound pleasant?
