Why try to remember it all at once, knowing how to
build them tends to work best, like a Em11 taking the
major scale use the 1st,a flatten 3rd since its a
minor, a 5th(me i omit or leave it out sounds
better),a flatten 7th, ending with an 11th or octaved
4th i believe. and knowing the notes it contains
E,G,D,A find the notes on fretboard and find the
interval pattern best suited for the music. I just
find knowing the fretboard and formula's is the easist
and fastest to way to learn. Since if you know how to
build em you know what goes with what like what scale
can be played with an Em11 being first of the top of
my head Aeolian(natural minor) or the 6th mode of the
major. But thats just me dont just want to play but
attain to be a musician.
