Hello,

I'm new to the group. I play guitar, write songs and host free public music events at local state parks.

We are having our second , "Texas Stars & Guitars Fest" at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park on Oct 1st, 2005

You are welcome to compete in this music event.

We will give out awards as follows:

Grand Honors - Best All-around Music Performance.

2nd Place - All-around Music Performance.

1st Place - Vocal Performance

2nd Place - Vocal Performance

1st Place - Instrumental Performance

2nd Place - Instrumental Performance

1st Place - Song Writer Award

2nd Place - Song Writer Award

Music Honors Certificate, to all other performers.

The music event will be followed by Night telescope viewing of the wonders of our Universe.

The event is free and open to the public and will include a B-q for event volunteers and musicians. We will also have a raffle for a Mandolin!
