Standard tuning you mean, EADGBE - that combo of
notes spells either:
1. an Em11, or
2. an A9sus, or
3. a G6 add9 with E in the root, or
4. a D6 sus with E in the root.
Maj7 sus2 sus4 - dude??? A sus2 is nothing more than a
sus4 (or just sus) in 1st inversion. A Csus2 (CDG) is
a Gsus (GCD) in 1st inversion. The tendency of those 3
notes wants to resolve to a G major, or change to a C
major. You might as well call the notes ACE a C6 with
no 5th - no, it's an Amin. No offense, you would never
see the spelling you have below.
A sus2 chord was named by someone who didn't
understand how chords are built and named, and it's
existence has been propulgated ever since. You don't
give new chord names to chord inversions. Why make
things more difficult?
