Hey gang ! I could use some help.
Trying to use my Ibanez GA6CE (nylon...4 band on board)
live. Naturally, the higher the volume requirements, the more difficult
this becomes.
I really made a serious error when buying this guitar....I
chose the one of the bunch with the LEAST natural resonance figuring
to have fewer feedback problems.(stupid ! stupid ! stupid !)I guess I
should have known better , but , here I am , fighting for every iota
of tone.
I can't seem to get the correct balance of compression and
eq .
Anyone got a good "starter" setting ?
I've tried to cut @125
+@250
-3@400-800
-6@1k
+3@4k
+3@12k
This is all with the on-board flat.Fingers or pick.....I
can't seem to preserve warmth without howl,or sparkle without nasal
honk. H E L P ! ! !
