- Well well well.if it isn't one of my most favoritist people in
da whole wide world!!!!!
So..... how is our lovely goddess getting along these days???
ME?>>>Share with the class?? My darling this time I get to BE the
class!
Here goes:
I'm trying to approximate the tone of Gary Moore's "Still
Got The Blues for You".
Now I know all guitars are different. I know Gary loves Les
Pauls.
What I'm after is that "rich growl without having to be
compressed all to hell",almost warbly, creamy sound from heaven!!!!
I've heard that a chorus can provide some of that "thick silk",
but I never seem to get the settings right...ya know..to where you
don't really hear that it's a chorus.
Also ..Adrian Vandenburg's solo tone on "Here I go Again"
is another texture I'd sure like to have available.
I use a boss GT-3 ...mainly for the amp sims, direct to the
sound system.
If someone could please just point me in the right direction...
what amp etc....I'll be able to tweak it to my own set-up.
Thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(smooches to ya Cara !!!)
