It seemed like the concert we're hosting was a million years away,
but now that the students are back and I'm starting to see David's
face all over campus, it is much more real! :)

Our campus group, Westminster Fellowship, is hosting David for all
students, faculty and staff on Aug 29 (If you're in the Columbus, GA,
area, let me know and we can work something out!).

Whenever I pass out flyers it's funny to hear the responses. I just
had to share two:

One new freshmen (with long hair, but not quite as long as David's)
said in this awe-struck voice, "wow, he has long hair, too!"
[Reminded me of a roomate I had with hair almost identical to David's
who called guys with long hair simply "long hairs" and seemed to
think he was a kindred spirit with all of them ;) ]

The VP of Student Affairs (a guy) called him a "nice lookin' fella"
today.

LOL. Just had to share, figured David and others would get a kick
out of it, too. ;)

P.S. If you've seen a successful promotion to bring in college folks
to a concert, please share your secrets! We're looking for a crowd of
400 ;)
