hey guys - Happy 2000,

Just wanted to touch base with everyone since it has been so long. The next
few months look really great for acoustic based positive music. Here's the
rundown:

This weekend is Tom Prasada Rao and Leigh Hilger opening on Friday night at
the Grey Eagle. We will be making the trip for that great show and would love to
stay for the next night but probably can't.
In that same location Saturday night is Chris Rosser, he is great live and
has a new cd coming out soon.
Christine Kane has a new live cd coming out in mid march (that will have
"southern girl" on it!).
Dog Named David will have new live cd coming out soon also (think
positive and still acoustic Vertical Horizon!)
Matt Jones will have a second cd out late Feb or March. His first cd is
amazing, even has a song relating to Peter Pan on it that is awesome.
Pat McGee Band will have their first major label cd out the beginning of April
with Woody Haynes and other guests appearing.

And of course, last but not least, David LaMotte will have a new cd hopefully
late spring. And of course the big night April 25? or 26? at the Grey Eagle
with John Gorka.

There are others of course - Tracy Chapman this week. So if you guys have some
favorites I have not mentioned or want to discuss some of these
artists(especially David LaMotte and the new songs!). Send an email to
