Richard Hawley's stuff is great, but he's had crap promotion, so I don't
know how much of a good sign this is.

After parting with their management company a few months ago (see
news item below), Gene have now revealed that they've made a decision
on the 'new guy' tasked with kicking their backsides back into
action! Drummer Matt James confirmed to Olympians that Graham Wrench
from Electric Canyon Management (who also manages Richard Hawley) is
now in the hot seat, and is a thoroughly decent chap who's been
involved in promoting the band in the past. It's now up to Graham to
sort the band out with the right record deal, get them out on the
road and releasing material to the baying hoardes. Question is, what
will he do with the rest of his week?! More info on developments soon.
