Discussion of the official Grass Roots site content and history of this classic rock and roll group. The Grass Roots continue to maintain a nationwide concert schedule to the present day.

In 2012 they are appearing as part of the "Happy Together" tour with their friends from the glory days of rock and roll in the late sixties. These friends include The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, Micky Dolenz of The Monkees, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap and The Buckinghams.

The current Grass Roots line up is lead vocalist Mark Dawson on bass guitar, Joe Dougherty on drums, Dusty Hanvey on lead guitar & vocals and Larry Nelson on keyboards & vocals. Mark has been with the group since 2008 and Joe, Dusty & Larry since way back in 1985.

You are welcome to discuss their music and happenings from 1966 to the present.
