So I just got back from our massive two month jaunt West and back.
Much to my horror, it would appear that the only photos I had from our
EAST coast tour were still on my camera... and I deleted them the day
we stared out West. RRRRRRRGGGH!!!!
So, if anyone's got any good shots of us from when we went out East
between May 25-ish and June 15-ish, I'd love to see 'em. Priceless
photos of our van in disrepair... gone forever. Damnit.
~Phil
Phil,
We've already got Roger booked for another house concert in September! We
were hoping the whole band would come down, but I guess we'll have to wait
till November. Either way, there will be lots of cold beer, smoked brisket,
and great live music whenever ya'll show up.
KEEP THE MUSIC LIVE!!!!

GIRL ON GIRL ON GIRL ON GIRL ON GIRL ON GIRL ON GIRL.....ACTION!
Speaking of Northern, I remember while we were down in TX more than a
few people remarked: "Hey, y'all brought a cold front in from Canada!"
When we got back home, everyone told us: "Y'know, the week before
you guys came home, it was beautiful up here, eh?"
That's okay. At least I got to miss the last vestiges of winter
while we were on the road.
http://www.ambrec.com/Homepages/neil/neil1.html
Neil is playing my all time favorite Gram songs on the Pedal Steel on
this webpage, it was recorded next door to my house, Burrito Manor, at
Gram's Place in their studio. I got to see and talk to Neil while I
was at the Broken Spoke during the same week that the Roger Marin Band
was in Austin. Neil looks so great, he was not doing so well for a few
years. Maybe the Florida life was not good for him, he went 16 years
without touching the pedals. I am constantly after Roger Marin to
listen to Neil's music. That evening was surely a highlight of my week
after the boys in the band left Austin for more Northern lights.
my Texas weekend (s) were all about the Roger Marin Band, they
ROC.....I haven't even come down enough to write a review. Give me a
few more hundred hours...........But I do love all things Texas.
Phil,
Glad you guy's are home safe and sound. Hope you made it to K.C. on time.
Angela and I had a blast with you guys. Can't wait to get the new record.
Look forward to seein' ya again in Nov. May see ya in Canada again this
summer. Say "hey" to Roger, Rod, and Matt. See ya soon.
Shine On,
Tim
* Hope ya'll enjoyed the CD's. Made (2) Old 97's "Alive & Wired" (1) is

Hey Guys, Back in Fort Smith and just a note to say had a great time
in New Braunfels, Texas. Roger and his gang put on a great show in
Gruene Hall. In our opion they were by far the BEST SHOW there. Really
had that old dance Hall Rockin. Pictures are coming soon.
Later,
Randy Kralicek
I had such a blast this past weekend! You guys (Roger, Phil, Matt & Mr.
Mohawk) were absolutely great! Oh yeah, Scott Nolan rocked too!
Thursday night at Gruene Hall was the best. I'll try to get the pics
uploaded and e-mailed to you soon! I have some video too, if i can
just figure out how to get it on this computer I'll send it along with
the pics. Thanks for making my little vacation so much fun. Ya'll take
care - hope we don't have to wait another year to see ya'll again.
Denice
P.S. Luke wants to dye his hair blue and join the band!
I'm trying to rally a bunch of people for the show at the Carousel on
Wednesday night. Anybody know what time the show starts?
[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Cool.
Is the Carousel Lounge the Carousel Room? I'll be at both (Tuesday and
Wednesday) either way.
Anybody else on the list making it to ATX next week?
Roger, good luck with the recording tonight. I feel like hell right now and
can't make the drive down...I suck.
