Hello all,
The Talons are once again asking for your assistance.  With the critical budget crisis that is affecting education it is more important than ever that the Talon's work together to raise funds for an ongoing music program at Centennial.  We are hosting PPAACC finals on April 19th at Centennial.  This will be one of the last fund raising events of the year.  At Monday night's Talons meeting it was shared that in 06-07 the school contributed $8,000 toward busing to competitions, $6,000 in 07-08, and it will most likely drop to $2,000 in 08-09.  The total cost of busing alone is around $18,000-$20,000 and with the rising cost of fuel that total will undoubtedly rise as well.  To that end, we NEED all of YOU to help out with this event.  The day will begin around 8 a.m. (possibly later) and be finished by 6 p.m. 

We need to cover 3-hour shifts for the following areas:

Door Monitors (6 per shift)
Barbequing (4-5 people)
Snack Bar workers (2-3 per shift)
Flower/Air-gram Booth (1-2 per shift)

Our shifts are as follows:
6-8 (set up)
8-11
11-2
2-5
5-clean up
