Description

This group is for the discussion of the music and associated culture of Texas in the 1960s.

All the various flavors of rock--psych, pop, garage, punk, along with blues, folk, country, and ethnic music from the Golden Era of the Local Label in the Lone Star State, from Beaumont/Port Authur down the Third Coast thru Houston to Corpus Christi to McAllen to Luling to San Antonio to Austin to El Paso to Amarillo to Dallas/Forth Worth to Tyler and all points in between.

Our rules are simple:

1. Treat everyone with respect and civility
2. No links to software or music you don't own the rights to.

There is a full time streaming mp3 archive of songs hosted on Live365.
