Welcome To the Pittsburgh Consortium of Ambient Composers.
We are a group of artists and labels looking to unite Western Pennsylvania's minimalist and ambient music scenes. The Consortium is open to all bedroom composers who are either self taught or professionally trained, and who work in either electronic or acoustic mediums. We also welcome all who are general fans of these styles, whether you are local or international in relation to Pittsburgh.
We are currently designing another site that will focus on news, artist biographies, labels, and webcasts of live performances along with previously released material. In the meantime, please feel free to send in your links or post any information on performances for other members to see. We will be posting many links to other regional scenes as we find them.
