Hey Everyone, We had a wild weekend at the Wakarusa Festival in KS.
TR had 2 blistering shows with LOADS of new acoustic material. You
can find my reviews of the shows and the setlists for each of the
performances at the following links from TR's message board. Not sure
if I mentioned it in a past email to the list or not, but we set up a
forum on TR's message board specifically for Show Reviews. It's a
great place to follow TR's nightly setlists and find or exchange pics
from shows. Anyway, check it out. Here are the links to my Wakarusa
reviews:

TR and myself hung around for an extra day and were able to catch the
awesome performance of the Flaming Lips. Wow, what a show! There is
also a review of that on TR's message board if you want to check it
out.

Also I would like to extend our deep thanx to Jason Squires for again
taking some great photos of TR at his performance on the Harrah's
Voodoo Stage in the Revival Tent and also for sharing them with
everyone. Here is a link to the photos:

As I mentioned in my review of the first days festivities, TR did a
podcast for Relix magazine which consisted of a small interview and 2
acoustic tracks. You can hear the podcast at the following link:
www.relix.com/radio

You can also download the Relix podcast off iTunes. It's in the
podcast section under "Cold Turkey powered by Relix Radio" entitled
Cold Turkey 552 ENJOY!!

Next, the second of TR's 2 performances at Wakarusa is now available
online at the following link:

This is a single disc set. The first performance was on the
Campground Stage and was a little longer so it ended up being a 2
disc set. Unfortunately the second disc failed, but luckily they
also multi-tracked it so they will rescue the missing songs from the
multi-track. When that is done it should also be available. Keep your
eyes peeled. I would like to thank Joe and Digger and their whole
crew for all the hard work recording and distributing these
performances. To my knowledge, it is a limited TIMe offer so don't
wait to long to pick them up.

In TRelated news, a former student and friend of TR's has put out his
first CD of solo acoustic guitar. His name, Rob Levit and the CD is
called "Touch the Spirit". The CD is dedicated to John McLaughlin,
Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny and our own Tim Reynolds. The dedication
to TR is as follows:

"As a student at the University of VA, I was fortunate enough to
study and jam with Tim, one of the finest acoustic and electric
players of our time, well before his days with Dave Matthews. He was
and continues to be a musical and spiritual inspiration."

I highly recommend picking up this CD, it is fantastic. You can check
out samples of the new Rob Levit solo acoustic CD "Touch the Spirit"
and purchase it from his website:

Speaking of jamming with TR, we have some very special support acts
on some of the upcoming shows. Worthy of note, the C-ville show leaps
to mind with Mike "Soko" Sokolowski and Houston Ross opening. Mike
and TR have worked together before on a number of collaborations and
of course Houston played in the Puke Matrix incarnation of TR3 with
TR and Johnny Gilmore. There is a chance that Greg Howard may also
attend the C-ville show so it might just end up a very unique and
special nite since all of these guys have played together before. We
will just have to wait and see where the nite takes us. Also wanted
to take a second to mention that our old friend Matt Winn will be
opening for TR at the Towson show and Stanley Jordan will be playing
with TR at the Kill Devil Hills, NC show. The last TIMe they played a
show together they did a spontaneous encore together that brought the
house down. Imagine TR and Stanley playing improv together into a
amazing cover of "Here Comes the Sun", WHOOOOOOO! So it looks like a
good TIMe to make sure you get to the shows early. Wouldn't want to
miss anything. Here are the upcoming dates:
